Training of Officers of The Gambia Immigration Department Airport Unit

In April 2023 QIT was contracted to provide a 1 month long intensive training of 10 airport immigration staff in areas of Database Management, Systems Administration, Cybersecurity, Data Protection and Privacy and IT Essentials. The satisfied participants shared the invaluable impact the training will have on their day-to-day operations at the airport. 

 

 

Training of Teachers on Digital Tools to Enhance Teaching and Learning

In September 2022, QIT with funding from The Gambia Teacher’s Union and the QGroup Foundation trained 15 teachers and educationists on digital tools to enhance teaching and learning. The participants were successfully equipped with IT Fundamentals, MS Office and Google Suite tools meant to streamline and enhance pedagogical practices.

QIT Crowned Champions of the QGroup Football Tournament
On May 31, 2023, QIT football team were crowned champions of the QGroup’s Chairman’s yearly football tournament. QIT emerged victorious for the first time in its history after defeating Qcity in the closely contested final.
